ABOUT US

The Media Center Integrator Alliance (MCIA) drives adoption and awareness of the Media Center ecosystem in the custom integration channel. Through MCIA, the industry enjoys a central point of contact and interaction for all things Media Center.

The capabilities of MCIA are greater than the sum of its considerable parts - the manufacturers and integrators who comprise this growing organization. MCIA members pool resources and ideas with the common goal of working together to nurture, develop and expand Media Center-based technologies that provide an unmatched entertainment experience for integrators and their customers. MCIA members share best practices, establish Media Center standards, and develop education and certification tools that further the adoption of the Media Center platform as a viable, robust platform for residential and commercial entertainment applications. In the process, MCIA serves as a central rallying point for the Media Center movement that will attract the interest, acceptance and participation of many more companies.

MCIA is an open and independent non-profit consortium. Charter members of MCIA are AMD, Crestron, HP, Intel, Life|ware, Microsoft and Niveus Media.
